About Us

Head Trainer

Our Head Trainer Alice has worked with dogs in a professional capacity for many years, including rescue and grooming.

Alice holds a FdSc with merit in Canine Behaviour and Training and has also completed her BSc in Canine Behaviour Management. Alice has already achieved her Diploma in Canine Behaviour Training and a Level 3 Award in Dog Training achieving a higher Distinction which means her theory and practical skills are constantly being rigorously assessed.

Alice has spent many years working with rescue dogs to help them overcome a variety of issues in order to help them be placed in the most suitable homes. From a young age Alice has been fascinated with canine behaviour, which led her to work with wolves at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust. This work helped Alice gain further insight into how animals learn and why they may behave in certain ways.

PPG members optimize the use of applied behavior analysis to systematically identify and resolve problem behaviors using the least aversive and intrusive methods, tools and equipment.

Canine Hoopers UK

Clubs, societies and individuals are able to host Canine Hoopers UK shows, competitions and training by Accredited Instructors. Canine Hoopers UK strives to protect the long term well-being of the dog by maintaining flowing courses of low impact obstacles. It aims to be an inclusive dog sport making sure that this sport is accessible to all dogs and handlers, in particular large and tiny breeds, dogs which require a little extra space, patience or understanding and also to handlers with limited mobility.
